Summary:PURPOSE:To provide means for uniform cleaning with melting and flowing of deposits on the internal wall surface of an oven in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Upon removal of deposits on the internal surface of an oven by applying gas fuel such as an LPG gas, a liquid fuel such as coal oil, a mixed flame of a solid fuel such as coke dust and oxygen, plasma arc, or an oxygen stream, there are added to carrying gas self heating powder such as a mixture of a material containing mill scale, iron ore, powder, and iron such as iron sand and of oxydization heating metal such as Si, Al, Cr, Mg, Fe-Si, Fe-Cr, Al-Cr, Al-Mg, Ca-Si-Mg. A cleaning material is injected onto a wall surface of the ceramics oven in a heating state, whereby there is promoted melting and flowing of a slag, metal, or coke and tar adhering to the wall surface in a relatively wide range, and further carbons are burned to unformly clean the internal wall of the ceramics oven.
