Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a latent heat recovery heat reservoir having a high crystal lization temperature and a high amount of latent heat and capable of radiating a large amount of heat. CONSTITUTION:A nucleating agent is admixed with polyacetal and the resultant mixture is molded into a shape excellent in thermal response and subjected to electron ray crosslinking treatment. Thereby, the crystallization temperature is raised by about 45 deg.C in comparison with that of a heat reservoir produced by using a high-density polyethylene and the amount of latent heat and the amount of heat radiation are increased. The range of objective waste heat recovery facilities to set the reservoir is, therefore, widened and the facilities can be miniaturized. |
