Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide an engine oil filter capable of efficiently capturing insoluble components containing carbon particles contained in the engine oil without falling off from the filter and damaging the engine. CONSTITUTION:The engine oil filter contains an aramid fiber, preferably a pulp-like aramid fiber. Natural fibers or synthetic fibers can be contained in addition to the aramid fiber. The pulp-like aramid fiber is preferably >=400ml in Canadian standard freeness and <=500ml in finish freeness. Furthermore, the filter is preferably <<=5mum in average pore diameter measured by coal-tar pore meter and >=0.3l/min cm (in 0.1 bar differential pressure) in air flow rate. |
