Summary:PURPOSE:To increase the strength of a base plate at an applicable part and prevent a stud from falling by forming a rising flange at the peripheral edge of a hole for an air conditioner of which the constituent appliance is attached by a stud which is inserted from the bottom surface side in a hole drilled on a base plate. CONSTITUTION:On a base plate (1d) of an appliance case for an outdoor unit for a separate type air conditioner, a depressed part 22, in which the head part 15A of a stud bolt 15 is put, is formed, and at the center of the depressed part 22, a hole 23 in which the stud bolt 15 goes through is provided. For such a base plate (1d), a rising flange 24 which rises to a specified height is formed on the peripheral edge of the hole 23 extending to the whole periphery. By doing so, the strength of the peripheral part of the hole 23 on the base plate (1d) is improved. Then, the stud bolt 15 is inserted in the hole 23 from the bottom surface side of the base plate (1d), and the head part 15A is spot-welded 21 to the base plate (1d) under a condition in which the head part 15A is put in the depressed part 22, to fix the head part 15A, and due to the existence of the flange 24, the verticality of the stud bolt 15 is increased.
