Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a reinforcing-sheet-equipped carpet excellent in a cushioning property with its piles held in an upright position and a method for manufacturing the same. CONSTITUTION:In a reinforcing-sheet-equipped carpet having a rubber reinforcing sheet 7 on the back side of a foundation 6 on which piles 5 are fixed, the foundation 6 and the reinforcing sheet 7 are partially pressed and secured to each other. The reinforcing sheet 7 is formed by the agglomeration of vulcanized rubber or rubber chips with a binder.
