Summary:PURPOSE:To provide facsimile equipment capable of displaying by distinguishing already outputted and confirmed image data from unconfirmed image data not being outputted once when data to specify image data accumulated in image memory is displayed. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 attaches a confirmed mark on the managing information of the image data in a RAM 11 when reading out the image data designated from the image memory 15 by an operating part 3 and outputting it from a display part 4 or a recording part 2. Therefore, when an image data summary to specify the image data in the image memory 15 is generated and displayed on the display part from managing data in a RAM 9 by an instruction from the operating part 3, the confirmed image data and the unconfirmed image data are displayed by distinguishing the presence/absence of the confirmed mark. An operator can retrieve the image data desired to output by observing only unconfirmed image data summary from such display.
