Summary:PURPOSE:To drive a nail securely even if there is the dispersion in the height of the driving surface of a material by driving a blade and a nose, wherein the blade is inserted, as a unitary body at a low pressure with an actuator, independently driving the blade after the contact of the nose with the material, changing the pressure to a high pressure, and driving the nail. CONSTITUTION:An upper slide plate 5 is fixed to a piston rod 4 of an actuator 3, which is attached to the upper part of a frame 2. A blade shaft 7 is fixed to the slide plate 5. The shaft 7 is coupled into a nose flange 9, which is fixed to a lower slide plate 10 so that the shaft is freely slid. A nose 12 is linked to the lower end of the flange 9. A blade 13, which is linked to the shaft 7, is arranged so that the blade is freely inserted. The blade 13 and the nose 12 are lowered with the piston rod 4. When a nose top 18 having a buffer pad 17 comes into contact with a material, the nose 12 is stopped, and the rod 4 continues the extension. Then, the actuator 3 is switched to a high pressure, and a nail in the nose 12 is driven with the blade 13.
