Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce residual voids and to suppress deformation of a board with reduced manhour by performing bonding while observing the board through a transparent part. CONSTITUTION:Holes 23 for observing the behavior of a laminate being clamped are made at two points through an upper hot plate 4, an upper heat insulating plate 6, and an upper bolster in the direction of bonding load. The observation holes 23 are used for measurement of elongation or contraction as well as measurement of rigid movement or rotation of the board. Deformation of the board, when upper and lower hot plates 4, 5 are heated and bonding load is applied onto the laminate through a pressure cylinder 10, can be observed continuously by means of a TV camera 16 incorporating an enlarging lens barrel 15. Since deformation of board is suppressed after bonding while suppressing interlayer shift and reducing interlayer residual bubbles, this method produces a highly reliable multilayer printed board easily.
