Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a detection method of input failure which might cause soot and CO and the like are discharged in a hot water supplier. CONSTITUTION:In a detection method of input failure in a hot water supplier, the required heat amount of burning is estimated from set supplied hot water temperature, introduced water temperature, and a flow rate based upon setting of the supplied hot water temperature, and a specified input is provided by moving a fuel spray nozzle 2 of a spray cut burner 1 and a damper 12 of a fan 11 to a location corresponding to the required amount of burning whereby the required heat amount of burning is yielded as an output and hence hot water at the set supplied hot water temperature is supplied. Further, the actual amount of heat of burning actually outputted from the burner 1 is estimated on the basis of supplied hot water temperature yielded actually, the flow rate, and the introduced water temperature, and in the case where displacement beyond a specified value or more in the actual amount of heat of burning and the required amount of heat of burning is continued over a specified time, an input through the fuel spray nozzle 2 and the damper 12 is detected to be abnormal. |
