Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a current mirror where transistors are not saturated under any load condition by putting a diode between input/output and clamping output terminal voltage without increasing power consumption in a current mirror circuit. CONSTITUTION:The emitters of transistors 1 and 2 are connected to a constant voltage source 5 and the base is connected to the emitter of a transistor 3. The collector of the transistor 1 is connected to the base of the transistor 3, an input terminal 6 and the cathode of a diode 4. The collector of the transistor 2 is connected to an output terminal 8 and the anode of the diode 4. A constant current source 7 is connected to the input terminal 6 and a resistor 9 to the output terminal 8. Since the diode 4 is clamped even if the voltage of the output terminal 8 increases by the increase of current in the constant power source 7 or the increase of the resistance value of the resistor 9, the transistor 2 is not saturated.
