Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent a shock from being generated at the time of the setting of a reference position right after a hydraulic actuator is started. CONSTITUTION:This hydraulic servo controller is equipped with a command means 31 which commands the target value of the displacement quantity of the hydraulic actuator 35, a servo valve 34 which supplies working oil to the hydraulic actuator 35, a relative displacement measuring means 37 which measures the relative displacement of the hydraulic actuator 35, a stroke position arithmetic means 38 which calculates the stroke position of the hydraulic actuator 35, a driving quantity arithmetic means 32 which calculates the driving quantity of the hydraulic actuator 35 from the target value and stroke position, a valve driving means 33 which drives the servo valve 34 according to the driving quantity, a reference position detecting means 36 which detects the hydraulic actuator 35 being displaced to the previously set reference position, a neutral position command means 39 which commands a neutral position to the valve driving means 33 when the detection signal is ON, and a correcting means 40 which corrects the result of the stroke position arithmetic means 38 into the reference position according to the operation of the neutral position command means 39.
