Summary:PURPOSE:To assemble the photographic film cartridge by producing a resin molded part constituting a cartridge main body with a resin material which is excellent in ultrasonic weldability, and ultrasonic-welding the resin molded part with each other while keeping a state where the cartridge main body is not in direct contact with a photographic film. CONSTITUTION:Case bodies 2a and 2b constituting the cartridge main body are produced by molding light-shielding type polystyrene resin. The case body 2a is loaded into a holder 16. A spool 3 around which the photographic film 4 is wound is housed in the case body 2a, and the case body 2a is covered by the case body 2b. The leading edge part of the photographic film 4 is held between nip rollers 23 and 29. A motor 18 is driven and a rotational torque is given to the spool 3 through a torque limiter 19. A ultrasonic horn 30 is press-bonded to the case body 2b, and ultrasonic-welding is performed on a condition where the photographic film 4 projected from the cartridge main body 2 is applied with tension.
