Summary:PURPOSE:To carry out multicolor printing based on multipasses such as unwinding, double passing or triple passing of a base by setting a driving system of a printing and driving unit and all of unwinders and take-up divices before and after the driving system driven forward and reverse. CONSTITUTION:Rotary screens 21, counter rollers 23, cleaning rollers 24 and heater rollers 41 in intermediate drying units 40 of first and second printing units 20 are respectively and synchronously driven by a driving device 30 driven forward and reverse, and a base 2 is transferred by the set speed. Line shafts 33 are rotated and driven by a driving motor 31 by means of timing belts 32 or other transmission means. The first and second printing units are connected together by the line shafts 33, and two printing units are synchrously driven by the line shafts through work speed reducers 34 in respective units.
