Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of icing and frosting by safely and high- efficiently cooling intake to a gas turbine by using liquefied gas, such as LNG, serving as fuel. CONSTITUTION:A vaporization heat transfer group 9 is arranged in the air intake duct 8 of a gas turbine and a condensing drum 10 and a lower drum 11 are arranged thereabove and therebelow. A liquefied gas heat transfer pipe 12 and a water spraying device 13 are disposed in the condensing drum 10. Further, a vacuum pump 14 by which a pressure in the condensing drum 10 is reduced and a circulating pump 15 to feed water in the condensing drum 10 with a pressure to the lower drum 11 and the water spraying device 13 are provided. Gas turbine intake is indirectly cooled through water and steam by means of a liquefied gas cold heat source. Further, the degree of a vacuum in the condensing drum 10 is regulated with the aid of the vacuum pump 14 to regulate the saturating temperature of water, the temperature of intake is cooled to a proper value, and icing and frosting are prevented from occurring. |
