Summary:PURPOSE:To surely prevent toner from leaking toward a destaticizing brush from a toner supply member by bringing a sealing member made of foaming material into contact with a developing roller on the inner side from the destaticizing brush. CONSTITUTION:A gap 19 is formed between the peripheral surface of the developing roller 13 and the inner bottom surface of a developing device case 10. The sealing member 20 made of the foaming material such as polyurethane foam is stuck to the inner bottom surface of the case 10 between the destaticizing brush 18 and the toner supply member 12. The sealing member 20 comes in contact with the peripheral surface of the roller 13 from below so as to seal the gap 19 lest the toner in the case 10 should be scattered to the outside from the brush 18. Thus, large space is not needed in order to attach the member 20, and sufficient sealing performance is secured.
