Summary:PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the generation of abnormal sound during operation without using an interphase capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A parallel connection of a transistor 33 and transistors 31 and 32, to which resistors 34 and 35 are connected in series to each of coils 1A-1D of respective phases of a pulse motor. When excitation signals 41a, 42a, 43a and 44a are input to the respective coils 1A-1D, switching control circuits 2A-2D sequentially turn on the transistors 31-33 for the coils 1A-1D. In response, exciting currents to the coils 1A-1D increase in a step-like manner. As a result, abrupt rotation of the pulse motor is suppressed to thereby prevent the generation of abnormal sound.
