Summary:PURPOSE:To normally transmit a signal without regard to the length of a transmission wire by adjusting a compensation quantity in accordance with the length of the transmission wire. CONSTITUTION:A pair of transceivers 1a and 1b are connected by way of two pairs of the transmission wires 2a and 2b. The respective one pair of transmission wires 2a and 2b respectively transmit signals bi-directionally between both of the transceivers 1a and 1b. The transceivers 1a and 1b on a transmission side impresses prescribe DC voltage to the respective one pair of transmission wires 2a and 2b. Besides, with regard to the respective one pair of transmission wires 2a and 2b, the transceivers 1a and 1b on a reception side detects inter-wire voltage as the both-terminal voltage of resistances Ra3 and Rb3 by differential amplifiers 7a and 7b. Signal compensation circuits 6a and 6b consisting of the amplifier of variable amplitude is inserted on the output side of reception circuits 4a and 4b to adjust the amplitude of the signal compensation circuits 6a and 6b based on the output of the differential amplifiers 7a and 7b.
