Summary:PURPOSE:To achieve higher durability under a high temperature/high moisture condition by arranging a lubrication layer which contrains one or more selected from a group of compounds as given by specified formulas on a ferromagnetic metal thin film through a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A lubrication layer comprising a compound as given by formulas I and II (R , R , R , R , R represent an organic group which has an alkyl group having 12 carbons or more at respective terminals thereof. X and X' a hydrophilic group respectively while having no Si-O bond in the hydrophilic group and A and A' an organic group with the R and R bonding to X and R , R and R bonding to X' and k and i is integer of 1-3). When the organic group A or A' in which the alkyl groups at the terminals of R -R as hydrophobic part in the formulas I and II bond to hydrophilic groups X and X' has a polarity, an electrostatic interaction is generated between adjacent molecules with the molecules being oriented to further consolidate the orientation of the molecules. Thus, the use of the compounds as given by the formulas I and II allows the obtaining of a dense lubrication film oriented better.
