PURPOSE:To take out a cartridge on a halfway and to use it again by enabling it to be loaded again in a camera even in the case that a display member integrated in the cartridge is moved to a position showing used-up when it is taken out from the camera. CONSTITUTION:A notch 6 is formed on the upper end of the cartridge 1 and the inclined surface 7a of the display member 7 is exposed from the notch 6 at a non-using time. When the cartridge 1 is loaded in a loading chamber, a lock lever 15 is moved to a releasing position by the inclined surface 7a and the cartridge 1 is allowed to be inserted. When the display member 7 is present on the used-up position, the tip 15a of the lever 15 enters the notch 6 and the cartridge 1 is inhibited from being inserted. When a lock releasing button 22 is depressed, the lever 15 is moved to the releasing position by a releasing lever 24 and the loading of the cartridge 1 is realized regardless of the position of the display member 7. When the cartridge 1 is inserted into a prescribed position, the position of the display member 7 is detected by a pin 26 and a switch 28.
