Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance the sense of safety of a user of an elevator, which is put in the solely dedicated operation for calls with a crime preventive operation command switch furnished on each elevator hall, by installing a sensing means for existence of any user in a specified region of a hall and another sensing means for any intruder from outside of the region, and suppressing door closing when the latter is sensed. CONSTITUTION:When a user pushes a call button 2 at an elevator hall while the crime preventive operation is made with a crime preventive operation command switch 3, or when elevator arrives in response to the call button 2, an automatic guide broadcasting device 4 gives announcement that the operation is under crime preventive mode, that a person coming later should move to the region of the floor 10, and that the elevator door remains without shutting if transit is made from the floor 10 to floor 9 after arrival of the elevator. The door open standby takes place until the shut button in the car is pushed.
