Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a clad aluminum thin steel panel for an automobile capable of achieving the wt. reduction of a material to a large extent at the time of the wt. reduction of an automobile body and excellent in corrosion resistance and processability. CONSTITUTION:Surface-treated steel panels 1, 2 each obtained by applying a zinc plating layer to the surface of a thin low carbon steel panel are used as skin materials and, as a core material, a thin aluminum panel or a thin aluminum alloy panel is used. The skin materials 1, 2 and the core material are laminated through adhesive layers 4, 5 to be heated to 30-200 deg.C and further bonded under pressure by a roll to obtain a clad aluminum thin steel panel for an automobile excellent as the wt. reducing material of the exterior or interior panel of an automobile and suspension parts.
