Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent fracture of the product by making a horizontal hole in a green compact of a ceramic tube, inserting the jig die, filling the inside of the die, upper end of the green compact and the hole with a specific jig material and then solidifying and sintering the green compact of the tube with the jig. CONSTITUTION:A green compact of a ceramic tube 1 is obtd. by continuously extruding a kneaded source material of ceramic and cutting into a specified length. A horizontal hole is formed at the end of the green compact of the tube 1 and attached to a separated jig die preliminarily formed. Then the green compact 1 is inserted to the attaching hole formed in the lower side of the jig die. The inside of the tube green compact 1 is filled with a flammable packing 8, and a jig material such as alumina-mullite or mullite is introduced to the packing passage to fill the jig die, upper end of the green compact 1, and the hole with the jig material and then solidified to obtain a ceramic green compact tube 1 with the jig 10. Then the formed body is hooked in a furnace tool 12 consisting of stacked bricks in a furnace 11, and sintered, and then the jig 10 is cut to obtain a ceramic tube without crack or fracture. |
