Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a hopper in which a hopper body can be washed without any troubles in sanitariness and quality control even if a gate is left open during washing. CONSTITUTION:An engaging tongue 32 which is formed of a plate spring to engage with a support shaft 9 mounted on a support frame 2 of a hopper body 4 is provided at a lower part of a jig body 31, and an engaging and stopping shaft 33 to engage with a cutout 2a in the support frame 2 is mounted on side parts which oppose to each other at the upper part. In addition, a gate opening jig 30 is provided which is formed of a holding tongue 34 which presses a pusher receiving roller 20 of a gate opening and closing mechanism 12 against a right side part to displace a link part of the gate opening and closing mechanism 12 in a gate opening direction and holds the gate opening and closing mechanism 12 in this state so that gates 5a and 5b may be kept open.
