Summary:PURPOSE:To form the printing film thickness thicker than what is formed heretofore in the gravure transfer printing. CONSTITUTION:Ink or a bonding agent is placed on a gravure and scraped by a doctor blade. Ink remains in patterns engraved on the gravure. When a pad 5 is pressed to the ink, the pattern-shaped ink is transferred to the pad 5. When the transferred pad 5 is pressed to a work, the pattern-shaped ink is transferred onto the work to complete the printing. The surface of the pad 5 is covered with a mesh 9 and fixed thereon to improve the transferability when the ink or the bonding agent is transferred and thicken the printing film thickness.
