Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent water from oozing into the surface of a subterranean wall by exhausting all the water out of concrete to a headrace 28. CONSTITUTION:With concrete placed with a form 12, a concrete wall 14 is formed. Before this concrete wall 14 is hardened, excess water in this concrete flows into a headrace 28 through a permeable layer 26 and a nonwoven fabric 36 and then exhausted. In addition, after this wall 14 is hardened, a leak of water by way of a crack 54 is discahrged to the headrace 28.
