Summary:PURPOSE:To objectively detect a battery capacity of a loaded state without imposing an excess burden on the battery by connecting the battery between measuring terminals, then connecting a measuring load after a set time, holding a measured value after a set time, and disconnecting the load. CONSTITUTION:A measuring item selecting switch SW1 is, for example, connected to contacts 29, 30 to select a measuring item, and a battery is connected between a measuring terminal 12 and a common terminal 13. A voltage signal of the battery is divided by voltage dividing resistors R3, R4, input to a voltage circuit 53 through a SW 4, and a timer 54 is started by an output of the circuit 53. The timer 54 sets a preparatory time, and a timer 55 is started after a set time is elapsed. The timer 55 closes a SW 5 simultaneously upon starting, connects a load 33 to be measured between the terminals 12 and 13, and supplies a load current from the battery. After a set time is elapsed, the SW 5 is closed, a measured value displayed on a display unit 42 is held, the SW 6 is opened, and the load 33 is disconnected.
