Summary:PURPOSE:To detect the swaying angular velocity in a guiding apparatus for a missile. CONSTITUTION:Struts 4a, 4b on an axis of a body 7 supporting weights 3a, 3b are deflected by the inertial force of the weights 3a, 3b set to the body 7 of a flying object 1, thereby generating a stress on the surface thereof. The stress is detected by strain gauges 5a, 5b. An angular velocity calculater 6 directly calculates the angular velocity with the use of the outputs of the strain gauges 5a, 5b.
