Summary: | PURPOSE:To make it possible to suppress an instantaneous voltage drop of a generator to a minimum by instantaneously paralleling off a system during system power interruption in a substation where a power system and a non- utility electric installation are being operated in combination and also to operate the system after a failure of semiconductor switches of a countermeasure equipment against instantaneous voltage drop during combined operation. CONSTITUTION:This equipment comprises a serial circuit consisting of a semiconductor switch 52B2 connected in series to a bus combination breaker 52B1 connecting a power system-side bus bar B1 to a non-utility electric installation and a circuit breaker 52B3, and a bypass breaker 52B4 for bypassing this series circuit; and the system can be paralleled off within one cycle by the semiconductor switch 52B2 at the time of instantaneous system voltage drop. Also, if an overcurrent or failure occurs at the semiconductor switch 52B2 during combined operation, the bypass breaker 52B4 is turned on and the breaker 52B3 is turned off and a combined operation is performed by a bypass circuit. |
