Summary:PURPOSE:To operate a lead splash condenser by obtaining the accurate amt. of lead circulating through a lead splash condenser and thereby adjusting the output of a lead circulating pump. CONSTITUTION:A weir is provided to a launder, etc., the volume flow rate of molten lead is estimated from the height of the overflow of molten lead, the width of the overflow weir and the length of the overflow weir, and the output of a lead circulating pump is adjusted based on the estimated flow rate. Consequently, a lead splash condenser is stably operated.
