Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of the pressurized fluid from the inside of an expandable and contractable elastic body with the apparatus for producing the electrophotographic photoreceptor which holds a cylindrical base body by the elastic body and applies a coating liquid thereon. CONSTITUTION:The top end of the elastic body 9 consisting of natural rubber and having a blind cylindrical shape is provided with a circular flange 10 and the bottom end thereof with a circular nozzle 11, respectively integrally. A blind hollow body 1 for expansion of the elastic body is provided with a circular top plate 6 having screw threads 5 on its outer peripheral surface and a screw hole in the central part of a bottom plate. After the elastic body 9 is put on the blind hollow body 1, an annular fixing member 13 is screwed to the circular top plate 6, by which the circular flange 10 is clamped and fixed and a lower fixing member 15 is screwed into the screw hole. The circular nozzle 11 is thereby clamped and fixed. The circular flange 10 and the circular nozzle 11 act as packings for sealing the top and bottom ends of the elastic body.
