Summary:PURPOSE:To enable communication for knowing whether battery voltage which is reloadable is filled or not when reload of a data is demanded from an outside, and prevent writing of an error data even if power supply voltage is reduced abnormally. CONSTITUTION:A device is provided with a battery 13, an engine control device 1 supplied driving supply by this battery 13, an engine 2, a memory reload apparatus 11 serving as an outside apparatus in the engine control device 1. Especially, in the central processing unit (CPU) 3 in the engine control device 1, battery voltage is analog-to-digital-converted and monitored. In the case where reload writable memory element is demanded from an outside, it is judged whether a voltage value which is necessary for unload is filled in battery voltage or not, and unload operation is carried out in the case where it is filled. It is thus possible to eliminate data renewal error of a mounting control drive caused by reduction of power supply voltage so as to prevent error operation beforehand.
