Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent adhesivity to an uncleaned polyolefin, stability, etc., by reacting an active hydrogen-containing polyolefin modified with an acid anhydride with an NCO-containing prepolymer and subjecting the remaining NCO to chain extension. CONSTITUTION:(A) An active hydrogen-containing polyolefin modified with an acid anhydride is reacted with (B) an NCO-containing urethane prepolymer in the ratio of the component A and the component B of (45-90):(10-55) by weight and in the equivalent ratio of active hydrogen of the component A and NCO of the component B of 1:2-1:30 and the remaining NCO is subjected to chain extension with a chain extender (preferably aliphatic diamine such as ethylenediamine) to give the objective composition. The component A, for example, is obtained by reacting a polypropylene with maleic anhydride to give an acid-modified polypropylene, dissolving the acid-modified polypropylene in a chlorine-based solvent, chlorinating with a chlorine gas, reacting the resultant substance with ethanolamine. The component B is preferably obtained by reacting an active hydrogen compound with a polyisocyanate in excess of NCO.
