Summary:PURPOSE:To detect the leakage of gas from a gas flow path at the upstream side of a gas meter at the early period with a simple means. CONSTITUTION:The flow rate of gas is monitored with a gas meter 5. The flow rate signal is transmitted from a flow-rate-signal transmitter 8. The pressure fluctuation is monitored with a pressure sensor 4. The pressure sigal is transmitted from a pressure-signal transmitter 6. In a microcomputer 7, it is judged that the gas leakage has occurred with a leakage judging means 15 when it is judged that the flow rate signal is zero with a flow-rate-signal means 13 and when the pressure fluctuation, which is judged with a pressure-signal judging means 14, is in the predetermined specified range, the leakage signal is transmitted.
