PURPOSE:To secure the strength, corrosion resistance and fine appearance of a joint type steel pipe column by fitting a fastening tool shape-memory processed in a direction where the short steel pipe is heated and expanded inside an individual short steel pipe composing the steel pipe column, and heating for fastening them. CONSTITUTION:Short steel pipes 2, 3 are galvanized, and a joint type steel pipe column fastening tool 1 is welded and heated after cylindrically formed of shape memory alloy, and shape-memorized. Next the fastening tool 1 is galvanized, and its cylindrical part is contracted. On the other hand, a projection is formed on the inside on one side of the short steel pipes 2, 3, and the short steel pipe 3 is vertically buried in the earth, and the fastening tool 1 is inserted into it, and the projection in the short steel pipe 3 prevents the fall of the fastening tool 1. Next, the second short steel pipe 2 is fitted onto the outside of the fastening tool 1, and a band heater is wound on a fastened part to heat, and the fastening tool 1 is then expanded. Next, another fastening tool 1 is similarly inserted into the upper part of the second short steel pipe 2, and the similar process is carried out to produce an integrated steel pipe column.
