Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide the confirmation method for a teaching position in an industrial robot improving an operation efficiency in the confirmation operation of a teaching position. CONSTITUTION:When teaching each teaching point, information whether the supply operation of a wire is performed for each teaching point or not, is allowed to store. When confirming the teaching position of each teaching point, a wire protective tube is moved to the position of a wire protective tube corresponding to the position of each teaching point at a state in which the projection quantity of the wire is short. When the wire protective tube reached a position corresponding to a teaching point where the supply operation of the wire is performed, the wire is sent out, and the sending-out operation of the wire is stopped by a detected signal caused by an electric contact with the wire and a work, and the teaching position of a teaching point is confirmed. When there is a following teaching point, after retracting the wire, the wire protective tube is moved to a position corresponding to the following teaching point to confirm the teaching position of a teaching point. |
