Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent optical coated fibers from being entangled to each other when the optical coated fibers of a multi-fiber optical cable are connected, stored in relay storing equipment, and then stored in specified storing positions of a closure. CONSTITUTION:An arrangement stand 5 is installed on both sides of a closure. Multiple arrangement holding grooves 11 are formed on a fiber arrangement surface 10 of the arrangement stand 5. Also multiple optical coated fibers 2a to 2j of a multi-fiber optical cable are inserted holdingly into the corresponding arrangement holding grooves 11 of the arrangement stand, respectively, in the other that the optical coated fibers are not entangled when stored. The top sides of the optical coated fibers are set to coated fiber installation cassettes 13a and 13b with the coated fibers to be stored earlier put on the upper side. Then the right and left optical coated fibers are fused for connection in the order from the head side optical coated fiber 2a and stored independently in relay storing units 3a to 3j, and then the relay storing units 3a to 3j are stored in order in specified storing positions of the closure.
