Summary:PURPOSE:To improve impact resistance and durability to molten metal by laminating a metal thermal spraying coating layer and ceramic thermal spraying coating layer on the surface of a die part body on the side in contact with the molten metal, successively from the surface. CONSTITUTION:The metal thermal spraying coating layer 91 of Mo, etc., improves the adhesion between the ceramic thermal spraying coating layer 92 of Al, etc., and the surface of the die part body 90. The metal thermal spraying< coating layer 91 lessens the deterioration and erosion liable to arise on the die part body 90 at the time of casting of Al or its alloy, etc., when the die part body 90 is made of metal such as SKD steel, etc. The layer improves the impact resistance of the die part body 90 when the die part body 90 is made of ceramics such as alumina. Further, the ceramic thermal spraying layer 92 improves the durability of the die parts to the melt of the aluminum or its alloy when the layer is disposed on the extreme surface layer of the die parts.
