Summary: | PURPOSE:To produce the metallic mold for sintering having holes to allow passage of fluid for temp. control by molding the mold for sintering embedded with a flux in a raw material for sintering and subjecting the mold to a sintering treatment to dissolve the flux and to diffuse and penetrate the flux into the gaps of the raw material for sintering. CONSTITUTION:A wooden molding flask 2 is fitted to a pattern plate and the flux material 3 of a required shape (copper material, etc.) is temporarily fixed into the molding flask 2. The raw material 4 for sintering in a slurry form contg. the metallic particles (ferrous material, etc., and about 10 to 50 grain sizes) having the m.p. higher than the m.p. of the flux material 3 is poured into the space part delineated of the pattern plate and the molding flask 2 to fill the flux material 3 in the embedded state. The molten flux material 3 is then solidified. The pattern plate and the molding flask are thereafter removed and the mold for sintering is taken out. The mold for sintering is subjected to the sintering treatment at a temp. higher than the m.p. of the flux material 3 after drying to diffuse and penetrate the molten flux material 3 into the gap parts constituted of the raw material 4 for sintering so that the parts of the flux material 3 are left as holes. As a result, the metallic mold for sintering having the holes in which the fluid for temp. control passes is obtd. |
