PURPOSE:To obtain a phenol resin composition excellent in adhesion to coating material. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. phenol resin is mixed with 3-20 pts.wt. modified epoxy resin prepared by reacting an epoxy resin with a dimer acid and/or a trimer acid.
