Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an Fe-Co thin strip having high magnetic flux density and low core loss and to provide its producing CONSTITUTION:In an Fe-Co alloy thin strip contg., by weight, 5 to 20% Co, the ratio of crystalline grains parallel to the sheet face of the thin strip in the (200) plane is regulated to >=70%, by which the magnetic material having high magnetic flux density and low core loss can be obtd. This is made possible by regulating the thickness of the thin strip to <=100mum by cold rolling and generating recrystallization at the gamma/alpha transformation temp. or below.
