Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a raw yarn package by which a defect such as nonuniformity of courses is not caused in a stocking by winding covered ring yarn having a nonelastic bobbin round, polyurethane elastic yarn obtained by melting spinning while limiting a condition. CONSTITUTION:In order to obtain a winding yarn body whose inert value is not more than 5% when covered ring yarn is relaxed 0.85 time and is measured in a twisted condition, in the first place, polyurethane elastic yarn 11 wound round cheese after melting spinning is stretched out by a pullout roller 13, and is wound at an angle plate angle theta1 of not more than 19 degrees round a tube 17 driven by a take-up roller 14 at a speed lower than the pullout roller 13 through a traverse 15. Next, covered yarn 24 installed in a rotary hollow spindle 23 is wound by using this polyurethane elastic yarn as a core. In this case, an angle swinging angle (theta2) of a delivery roller 21 is regulated to be not more than 44 degrees.
