Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance the solubility of the insoluble alginate salt-dissolving agent comprising a metal-chelatable compound, an alkaline carbonate salt and a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The insoluble alginate salt-dissolving agent composition contains a mixed polyoxyalkylene type nonionic surfactant having an oxyethylene chain and an oxypropylene chain in the molecule and a 10-20C alpha-olefin sulfonic acid salt in a weight ratio of 1/4 to 4/1, and furthermore contains a metal-chelatable compound and an alkaline carbonate salt as main components. The dissolving agent composition can be used as an aqueous solution having a higher concentration than those of conventional insoluble alginate salt-dissolving agents, has a large dissolving rate for the insoluble alginate salt, has a large dissolution amount, and can quickly and efficiently wash trays for dental impression materials.
