Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a table for a free holding angle while improving workability inexpensively. CONSTITUTION:A table for a free holding angle is provided with a table member 4 having spindles 3 mounted fixedly on a base 2 and having a spherical body 10 on the tip and a spherical bearing 11 for receiving and pivotably holding the spherical body 10 and two linear movable members A5, B5 attached to the table member 4 orthogonally to each other and moved on a linear guide 13 extending along the expanding direction of the table member 4 through a spherical articular joint 17 joining the spherical body 10 to spherical bearing 11. Pistons 6a are provided between linear movable cylinders A6, B6, linear movable members A5, B5 and cylinders A6, B6 respectively correspondingly thereto, and two link members A7, B7 are provided which transmit the movement of the piston 6a-through the linear movable members A5, B5 to the table member 4 respectively to control the slanting of the table member 4.
