Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the data amount of transmission and reception data using public line in particle by holding initial data or data transmitted one before and transmitting the changed part of the data and the data to be transmitted in a form adding the changed data to the data length and to the data position. CONSTITUTION:In a data edit section, blank data being the initial data and transmission data copied from an application APL are compared to recognize changed data A and B, editing data in the prescribed data compression system (2). In short, the data transmission is performed by editing 'L1, P2, A' and 'L2, P2, B'. A reception terminal device 5 overwrites the data A based on the position P1 and the data length L1 of the transmitted data. Based on the position P2 and the data length L2 of the next transmission data, the data B are overwritten to generate the record of the reception data which is displayed on a display 50 of a terminal equipment 5.
