Summary:PURPOSE:To allow quick and positive replacement of first wall protective tile by providing a visual sensor for measuring the central position of a hole and the axial direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a tile 9 is fixed to a first wall, a tile 9 is gripped by the fingers 6, 8 of a gripper 3. A tile replacing hand is then brought close to a tile fixing part and the position and direction of threaded hole of a bolt 10 are measured by means of a visual sensor 1. The sensor 1 projects two slit lights, crossing perpendicularly each other, to a hole to be measured, images the hole part obliquely when each slit light passes through the hole part, and determines the centeral position and the axial direction accurately based on the position of the slit light on an image. The bolt 10 is positioned accurately on the fixing hole while aligning the axial direction based on the measurement results. A bit 11 engaged with a nut runner 2 is rotated under that state thus fixing the tile 9 to the vessel side. The operation is carried out automatically according to a preset program.
