Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent shaking of a base isolation floor due to walking of persons by increasing the spring constant of an air spring under usual conditions, and absorb vibration of an earthquake by decreasing the spring constant at the time of occurrence of the earthquake. CONSTITUTION:In a system where an auxiliary tank 4 is connected to an air spring 1 of a floor base isolation device, in which the air spring 1 is arranged in series with a laminated rubber 2, the air spring 1 and the auxiliary tank 4 are connected through a control system which connects both the air spring and auxiliary tank at the time of occurrence of an earthquake. The spring constant is increased under usual conditions, and decreased when the earthquake occurs.
