Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an IC socket that permits the faithful transmission of the output signals of a semiconductor integrated circuit(IC) to an evaluation circuit or to a testing circuit and improves the noise resistance of the input signals of the IC. CONSTITUTION:Several socket leads 8 consisting of a first conductive interconnection part 8A for connection with the external terminals of an IC 3 and a second conductive interconnection part 8B for connection with a printed circuit board 2 on which the IC socket is mounted are provided, and a first active device circuit 10 such as an amplifier or a buffer and a second active device circuit 11 such as an attenuator are provided in the middle of some socket leads 8.
