Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance printing sharpness, durability and ink holdability by conjugatedly forming yarn form a finely drawable fiber wherein a hot water soluble polymer forms a sea part and a high m.p. polymer forms a land part and forming the yarn into a fabric in the predetermined density of wefts and removing the sea part forming hot water-soluble polymer in the fabric. CONSTITUTION:For example, a hot water soluble polymer withstanding melt spinning of various polyesters obtained by copolymerizing 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid or the like and soluble in hot water and a polymer having an m.p. higher than that of the hot water soluble polymer, for example, polyethylene terephthalate are individually melted to be conjugatedly formed into yarn to prepare a finely drawable fiber. At this time, both polymers are allowed to meet each other and compounded so that the hot water soluble polymer becomes a sea part and the other polymer becomes a land part to form conjugated yarn. A fabric wherein the finely drawable fibers are woven in a ratio of 97 fibers/inch or more is formed. This fabric is treated with hot water to dissolve the hot water soluble polymer constituting the sea part of the finely drawable fiber in hot water to remove the same. The ratio of the high m.p. polymer is set to 70% or more.
