Summary:PURPOSE:To effectively improve a cutting edge life while high accurate and efficient cutting work can be executed by using a cutting edge. CONSTITUTION:A device, having a center cutting edge 14 corresponding to the point end part rotational center of a ball end mill main unit 12, is provided with a single main cutting edge 16 extended in an axial direction of this ball end mill main unit 12 and the first/second subcutting edges 18, 20 extended in the axial direction of the ball end mill main unit 12 from a position separated from the point end part rotational center thereof. In the main cutting edge 16 and the first/second subcutting edges 18, 20, angles theta1, theta2 and theta3 are set respectively to a different angle, and a rake angle relating to radial and axial directions is set respectively to a predetermined angle.
