Summary:PURPOSE:To separate seedling boxes one by one from a seedling box group in a superposed state, free from tottering. CONSTITUTION:A seedling box separation taking-out device is equipped with an elevator mechanism 13 which can raise and lower the whole of a seedling box group IG in a superposed state, holding mechanism which supports the seedling box in the second stage from the lower edge of the seedling box group IG lifted up by the elevator mechanism 13 and maintains the lifting-up level, and a roller conveyor for sending out the seedling box 1 at the lower edge part separated by the lowering of the elevator mechanism 13 after being held by the holding mechanism. Further, the taking-out device is equipped with an elastically pressing mechanism 16 which elastically presses the seedling box 1 at the lower edge part downward when the elevator mechanism 13 lowering-operates, and car be elastically retreated laterally outside when the seedling box group IG is lowered.
